The British Government has approved the development of the Thames Gateway. They plan to build up to 200,000 new homes. This area is subject to flooding. Have they not noticed the climate change danger of rising sea levels. They have signed up to the Kyoto agreements. They say one thing and do what they want.

Health in Ireland

The minster of health should be let get on with it. There is more to health than cancer. Changing a minister will only delay change. Polatitions ranting about health only to make a name for themselves will not improve the health service.

Oil Shortage

Oil is at record levels, nearly 100 dollars a barrel. It is speculators who are pushing up the price with every bad weather or middle East problem. The demand is rising but the value of the dollar is decreasing. Yet when Brazil claim that they have discovered a new deposit nearly as big as Saudis deposits the price dose not drop. How strange ? But my bet is it will drop shortly.

Fireworks

A young boy was hit in the face by a firework, thrown from a car. This must be one of the worst acts of senseless violence this year.

HSE boss

There all having a go knocking Prof Drumm of the HSE. They should let him get on with his job. Its an impossible job keeping everyone happy and when anything goes wrong getting the blame. Another face in the job Will have the same fate. He has a contract let him honour it and then judge him.

Britz on channel 4

The Britz drama last 2 nights was pro Muslim and anti British government. I cant believe it was ever made. It was very entertaining, I hope no one takes it the wrong way and volunteers to become a terrorist.
